July 11, 2016 Montgomery Alabama: The Year of the Late model continues at Montgomery Motor Speedway with the 4 Star Freightliner 100 “Show me the Money” Presented by Blacksheep Woodlands this Saturday July 16th. Racers have been calling the track all week in preparation for this big event. Current points leader Casey Roderick looks to get back to his winning ways after a disappointing finish in the July 2nd Independence weekend race. It seemed that the #18 was on his way to his 3rd victory of the 2016 season when a right front flat slowed his pace. although it was disappointing for the #18 the #30 of Bobby Knox Jr. made a bold move and grabbed the lead with Kyle McCallum following for second.
The action will start Friday night as MMS will offer open Practice for all divisions gates will open at 5 and practice will be from 6-9 Pit Passes for Friday are $15 per person
Saturday July 16th Pit gates will open at noon. The Mandatory Pro Late Model Drivers meeting will be at 2pm “Spotters are required also” Roll call will be taken. Practice will start at 2:30
Mandatory local division drivers meeting will be at 5 (Roll call will be taken” Failure to attend will result in loss of qualifying and driver will start in rear of feature.
Grandstands open at 5 and Racing starts at 7 .
