The 2022 Alabama State Championship night is on tap for Montgomery Motor Speedway this Saturday November 5th. All divisions will be running for a chance at the regular season titles in the final race of the season at MMS. A great season that kicked off with one of if not the biggest Alabama 200’s in the history of Montgomery Motor Speedway with Hunter Robbins taking the checkered flag and the BEAR. This weekend will feature a packed racing schedule from the “Show me the MONEY” Pro Late Models, the Modifieds from the Modifieds of MAYHEM Tour, Blacksheep Woodlands Late Model Sportsman, Shelby Concrete Street Stocks, and Roadrunners.

The Show me the MONEY Pro Late Model Series Championship is coming all the way down until the last race of the season. Jake Garcia #35 and Gio Ruggiero #81 are separated by just 6 points coming into the State Championship weekend at MMS. With a season that has seen Jake Garcia #35 go to Victory Lane twice with an additional 3 more top 5’s. Gio Ruggiero #81 picked up his first win at MMS last time out holding off Jake Garcia #35 until the end. Gio has 3 runner-up finishes this season. One of them will be crowned the 2022 Alabama State Champion, who will it be?

Less than 30 points separate the Shelby Concrete Street Stocks top 4. Daniel Jacks #1 holds a slim lead over Charles Davis #6, last years champion Kameron Wesenburg #32 and Keith Grace #81.

Trey Grimes #51 has built a good cushion coming into the Alabama State Championship weekend leading second place Chance Atkins #18 and Ryan Ruese #89. He looks to hold on and get the Championship win.
