Disturbing the Peace 100, May 28th

The next event for us here at Montgomery Motor Speedway is the Disturbing the PEACE 100 on May 28th. This is the 3rd race of the season for the “Show me the MONEY” Pro Late Models with Hunter Robbins #18 winning the Alabama 200 and Jake Garcia #35 winning the Spring Fling 100. Memorial Day weekend will be filled with fun, great racing from the “Show me the MONEY” Pro Late Models, Shelby Concrete Street Stocks, and ROADRUNNERS.

Jake Garcia #35 comes into the third “Show me the MONEY” Pro Late Model series leading in the point standings. Gio Ruggiero #81 with Anthony Campi Racing sits right behind Garcia in second. John Bolen #2 sits in third and is tied in points with Christopher Tullis #12. Hunter Wright #29 sits fifth coming into the Disturbing the Peace 100.

This years Alabama 200 Champion is BACK and ready for more. Originally from the Montgomery area, hometown boy Hunter Robbins added another trophy to his trophy case with the prestigous victory at the Alabama 200 and taking home the unique BEAR trophy. Hunter Robbins is fresh off of a win at Five Flags Speedway and looking to keep his momentum going. Robbins will come into the May 28th Disturbing the Peace 100 sitting at the top of the Show me the MONEY point standings.

8- Greg Fore #77

Hometown: Greenville, Mississippi

Greg Fore will be traveling East to make his first start of the season at Montgomery Motor Speedway for the Disturbing the Peace 100.

7- Nick McFarland #6

Nick McFarland comes into the Disturbing the Peace 100 after just 1 start this year so far at MMS. His first and only came at the Alabama 200. He will be looking to get back to MMS for his second race of the season.

6- Justin Bonnett #12

Justin Bonnett has ran into the bad luck bug at Montgomery Motor Speedway so far this season. He had a STRONG run last race before mechanical issues ended his night early. He does carry some momentum coming into Montgomery though, finishing 4th at Five Flags Speedway with another good run. Justin Bonnett is looking to get on track in the Show me the MONEY series.

5- Bryson Shaffer #12

Hometown: Milan, Tennessee

Bryson Shaffer comes into the his third Show me the MONEY series race of the season sitting 13th in the points, just 4 points seperating him from the top 10. Bryson has put together strong runs at Montgomery and Nashville this season, and looking for his first PLM win.

4- Jeff Dawkins #2

Hometown: Deatsville, Alabama

Jeff Dawkins currently sits just inside the top 10 in the Show me the MONEY series standings at 10th. Jeff is coming off of a 10th place finish at the Spring Fling 100 and his strongest run of the season. He is looking for more his next trip to MMS.

Hometown: Hueytown, Alabama

JoJo Wilkinson comes into her third race at Montgomery Motor Speedway with Jett Motorsports sitting 14th in the Show me the MONEY point standings. JoJo is coming in with some momentum after a 12th place finish and a strong run at Five Flags Speedway last weekend.

Hometown: Madison, Alabama

The Alabama native, Jim Wall heads into race #3 at Montgomery Motor Speedway this season sitting 8th in the Show me the MONEY point standings. Jim is always looking for more, and will be a contender for the Disturbing the Peace 100 at MMS.

1- Jake Garcia #35

Hometown: Monroe, Georgia

Jake Garcia is hot off of a win the last time out at Montgomery Motor Speedway. Garcia dominated the field in the Spring Fling 100 and is looking to continue that speed for the Disturbing the Peace 100 at MMS. Jake Garcia is the “Show me the MONEY” series points leader at Montgomery Motor Speedway with a 1st and 4th place finishes this season. Garcia is always a car to beat here in Montgomery, and this one should be no different.
