Alabama State Championship

The 2021 season at Montgomery Motor Speedway is winding down, but not finished yet. This Saturday, November 6th, Montgomery Motor Speedway will host the Alabama State Championship races and crown the 2021 Track Champions. Many different drivers have a lot left on the table and will be trying to prove it on the track this weekend. Racing features will include the Show me the MONEY Pro Late Model series, Modifieds of MAYHEM Tour, Street Stocks, and Late Model Sportsman. Gates will open at 5:00 PM, BAMA Budweiser Qualifying begins at 5:30 with RACING at 7:00!

The Show me the MONEY series at Montgomery Motor Speedway this season has featured 3 different drivers find Victory Lane in 6 races. Christopher Tullis #12 started off the season in Victory Lane winning the Alabama 200, adding another win in the first of two Twin 50’s on Bring Dad to the Races night. The young gun Jake Garcia #35 has shown dominance at times throughout the season throughout the country. Jake Garcia #35 has racked up 3 wins in the Show me the MONEY series this season. Jake’s first win came at the Spring Explosion, then added a win in the second of two Twin 50’s on Bring Dad to the Races night. The third win came at the Saturday of Speed 125 this summer. Jett Noland #81 picked up his first win at Montgomery Motor Speedway this season being the third different driver to add the win to their resume in 2021 and winning the Fall Brawl.

Christopher Tullis #12 holds just a 4-point lead over Augie Grill #112 heading into the Alabama State Championship. Jake Garcia #35 sits at third in the points standings followed by John Bolen #2 and Chase Spradlin #89. The championship will come down to the wire as Christopher Tullis looks to finish the year at Montgomery Motor Speedway the same way that he started it, in Victory Lane and hoisting a trophy. “Mr. Montgomery” looks to add to his really long resume as Augie Grill will look to spoil the party and find his way to Victory Lane for the first time this season in the Show me the MONEY series.

Hometown: Bessemer, Alabama

Justin has showed good speed this season at Montgomery Motor Speedway, with his best finish in the Show me the MONEY series being 4th on the season. The Alabama native will look to steal the Alabama State Championship and find Victory Lane for the first time this season on Saturday.

Grant Thomspon #54

Hometown: Mobile, Alabama

Sponsors: Impact Racing Products / Joe’s Racing Products

Grant Thompson is making his first PLM start in the Show me the MONEY series this season. The 2020 Pro Truck champion at Five Flags Speedway has already entered into the Snowflake 100 after a strong campaign at Five Flags this season.

Jeff Dawkins #2

Hometown: Deatsville, Alabama

Sponsors: CMG Mortgage / Vinyltech Sign / Hudgins Enterprise / Schaffer’s Racing Oil

Jeff Dawkins comes into the Alabama State Championship looking to park it in Victory Lane for the first time this season. Jeff comes into the State Championship weekend sitting 9th in points.

Jim Wall #91

Hometown: Madison, Alabama

Sponsors: Cross-Eyed Owl Brewing Company / JM Forest Products / BIOLYTE

Jim Wall has had a strong season in the Pro Late Model at Montgomery Motor Speedway this season, with a couple of top 10 battles. Wall showed great speed this past weekend at Nashville Fairgrounds before running into problems. He will look to punch his ticket into Victory Lane this Saturday.

Nick McFarland #6

Hometown: Harvest, Alabama

Sponsors: Driven125 Cleartrack HR

Nick McFarland has battled in the top 10 this season, continually getting better each and every race. He comes into the Alabama State Championship sitting at 12th in points, but looking to hoist the trophy in Victory Lane come Saturday night and get his first win of the season.

Parker Henegar #39

Hometown: Scottsboro, Alabama

Sponsors: Noble Trucking LLC / Big Rig Truck Parts

Parker Henegar is making his first Pro Late Model Start this season at Montgomery Motor Speedway and the Show me the MONEY series. A Pro Late Model and Pro Trucks contender at Huntsville Speedway will look to add to his resume and put his #39 machine at the front.

Chase McLemore #28

Hometown: Saraland, Alabama

Sponsors: McLemore Appraisal Company

Chase McLemore will be making his second start on the season in the Show me the MONEY series. He is coming off of a top 15 finish in his debut. He will look to build off of his first race debut and race to the front.

Christopher Tullis #12

Hometown: Dacula, Georgia

Sponsors: Chancy Motorsports / Pallet Warehouse

The Alabama 200 winner from Dacula, Georgia has been on fire this season at Montgomery Motor Speedway. Tullis found something early on in the year, and has consistently battled for the win week in and week out at Montgomery. Christopher comes into the Alabama State Championship with a 4-point lead over Augie Grill. Christopher will look to cash in on the Alabama State Championship and end his 2021 campaign the same way that he started it, in Victory Lane.
