MMS Short track Committee awards $500 bonus

September 25th, 2019 Montgomery, Al: In order to finish first… First you must FINISH!!!   Late Model racing is not for the weak of heart, It takes time, money and hard work to be successful. Mid season the track was contacted by an anonymous short track enthusiast that wanted to make a small impact on the late model racing scene.

A panel of short track enthusiast cast their vote and for the August 3rd “Saturday of Speed” event Jason Furrow #21 was awarded the $500 bonus. Furrow has shown maturity and talent as he sees his late model career progresses. “We are hoping this bonus will help some of our racers to get back to the track and compete in as many MMS events as possible.” stated General Manager Stan Narrison. Jason Furrow and the entire Blacksheep Woodlands have worked diligently to put the best car on the track for competition.

Jason and his team currently sit 5th in “Show me the MONEY” points. Jason also campaigns an Outlaw car at Montgomery and Pensacola.

This Saturday September 28th is the Last event for the “Show me the MONEY” Series with a Champion being crowned at the end of the 100 lapper. Gates open at 5 Budweiser qualifying at 6 and racing at 7.
