The start of the Modified mini race made some folks question driving a 26 foot peanut around the track before features. It took a couple of times and a few banged up race cars but things got rolling. Eddie Dodd #81 took the lead on lap 1 but by the time we got lap 2 started it was the #21 car of Josh McElhone hanging on till lap 6 when Jeremy Davis took control and never looked back.

Impact

The Impact Zone Photo Roadrunners hit the track for their 25 lap feature, And the craziness continued.  Jason Kendrick in the #3 took the lead at the drop of the green flag. As things sorted out Bubba Deaton worked his way to the front and made the pass on lap 9 for the lead and he set sail for the checkers. Lap 16 saw things change as points leader #12 Josh Wilson blew his motor causing the 6 to spin and red flagging the race for cleanup.

The excitement didn’t stop there as the #17 of Bubba Deaton caught on fire on the front stretch and had to be attended to by safety personnel. Sending Deaton to the pits and the rear off the field. The Yellow flew again on lap 18 but in the end, it was Jason Kendrick #3 hauling the Black Bear back to Geneva, Alabama.
