June 5, 2019, Montgomery, Alabama: It is with great sadness today that we inform our drivers, crew members and fans of the loss of Charles Jones. Charles was the Team Manager and car chief for the #30 Bobby Knox Racing team. Charles was a big part in the reopening of Montgomery Motor Speedway, has been involved in short track racing his whole life and a long time supervisor at Shelby Concrete / Supply since 1987. Charles passed on Tuesday June 4th after a courageous battle with cancer.
