April 13, 2017, Montgomery, Al: No matter what you call them “Road Runner, Pure Stocks or Bombers” the action is always good when this type of car rolls out on the track. One month from now that is just what the Montgomery Motor Speedway fans will witness. May 13th Montgomery Motor Speedway will have the Bandit big rig series show casing the big trucks on the historic oval along with a 75 lap Late model sportsman race, But that’s not all. The night will also be a showcase for the Roadrunner/ Pure Stock car that run at South Alabama Speedway and 5 Flags Speedway combined for 1 big race. Cars must declare what set of rules they are competing under and must conform 100% to that set of rules. “We are really excited to feature these cars at Montgomery Motor Speedway and wrote our schedule around the other tracks scheduled dates. The race is scheduled for 20 laps but may be increased depending on car count. Gates will open at 1 with practice to begin at 3pm.
