MMS Drivers, Car owners Crews and fans,
Well the racing season is right around the corner and we can’t wait to see the new rides and paint schemes for 2016. As you may have heard we had to move the first open practice and 4 cylinder enduro to March 5th, 2016. We are restricted by the city of Montgomery as to when we can operate the track and we will be submitting a request for change in the next 2 months. I may be calling on the racing community to support us at the board of adjustment meeting.
Opening night will be March 12th as R.S. Trucking presents the Spring Explosion 125 featuring the “Show me the Money” Pro Late Models Sponsored by Black Sheep Woodlands, “Modifieds of Mayhem” Open Wheels, the Street Stock division and the Modified Minis. We will hold an open practice the night before March 11th From 6 till 9.
March 19th we will have the Rusty Wallace driving experience.
March 26th and April 2nd the track will have open practice for all divisions.
Mark your calender for SUNDAY April 3rd as the King of the Wing, “Southern Swing” 410 Winged Sprint cars hit the pavement at MMS along with the season opener for Interstate batteries Late Model Sportsman and the Street Stock Division.
Don’t Forget Raceceiver communication radios are required in LM Sportsman / Street Stocks / and Modified Minis you can purchase them from the speedway, directly from Raceceiver or any other outlet. Spotters are required in Pro Late Models, and Open Wheeled Modifieds.
