The 2016 Racing season is shaping up to be one of the best in the 64 year history of Montgomery Motor Speedway. The year kicks off with the return of the 4 cylinder Road course race scheduled for March 5th. the track will hold an open practice for all divisions and then the track will be set for the Road course race.

March 12th sees the return of the “Show me the Money” series as R.S. Trucking presents the Spring Explosion 125 Along with the return of the Ground Pounding Modifieds of Mayhem Tour. The night will also be the opening night of the Street Stock division and the Modified Minis.

Sunday April 3rd fans will get the opportunity to witness the speed and excitement of the 410 Winged Sprint cars. Track records will fall as these winged warriors visit the Historic 1/2 mile track during their Southern “King of the Wing” weekend.

The schedules has something for everyone as Kids bike races, Autograph Sessions, Stunt Motorcycles, the return of the Southern Super Series, Multiple “Show me the Money” Pro late model races and special 64 lap races for the Interstate Batteries Late Model Sportsman and the Street Stock class.

2016 will see the return of the Pro Truck division for 2 events, May 14th  and the trucks will be part of one of the largest event, “The Saturday of Speed” August 13th

July 2nd the track will celebrate independence day with local divisions and a big fireworks show.

September 10th & 11th the Southern Super Series and the Modifieds of Mayhem will be part of the biggest weekend in racing in Alabama for the Alabama 200.

A new event has been added to the schedule Sept 24 featuring the “Show me the Money” Pro Late Models for “Champions Night”

Fans that have always wanted to experience the speed of Montgomery Motor Speedway will have the opportunity as the Rusty Wallace racing experience visits the track March 19th and November 5th.
