April 19, 2015 Montgomery, Al: Late model action has been fast and furious across the country in 2015 and opening night showed the rest of the country that Montgomery Motor Speedway’s Show Me the Money Series will be attracting some of the best drivers and teams in the United States. This Saturday night the action returns as R.S.Trucking presents the Spring Explosion 125 the third points race in the “Show me the Money” Series. Drivers from Mississippi, Florida, Louisiana, Tennesee ,Georgia, North Carolina and Alabama are setting their eyes on the $4,000 to win top prize and the prestige of winning one of these events. After very strong showings 2 rookie of the year contenders lead the points heading to Saturdays event. Luke Christain, Son of ASA, Pro Cup and All Pro competitor Steven Christain comes off of 2- 5th place finishes in the twin 50 lap races to start the year. #2 Christian from Dacula, Georgia hopes to improve his position as he learns the Pro late Model car at MMS.
Current points leader #2h Bret Holmes from Munford, Alabama looked very strong in his Montgomery Motor Speedway debut with a 3rd place and a feature win. A strong field of cars will line up for the only 125 lap pro late model event of 2015 at MMS.
Fans will meet the drivers in an on track autograph session and see the Interstate batteries Late Model Sportsman in a 35 lap race and the exciting Street Stock division competing for 30 laps.
Montgomery Motor Speedway will offer open practice for all divisions Friday night with pit gates opening at 5 and test and tune from 6 till 8. Fans are encouraged to watch practice from the grandstands free of charge.
